Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you to join us for exciting science at the cross roads of genetics and brain imaging.
From the 8th to the 11th of May, sign up for a 4-day meeting in Amsterdam, during which leaders in the fields of human genetics and brain imaging will present an overview of their latest findings. The aim of this meeting is to stimulate enduring collaboration between brain imagers and geneticists working in the area of cognitive neuroscience. Save the date!
During the first three days plenary lectures by an impressive list of invited speakers are scheduled. Two poster sessions allow you to present your own work. The deadline for poster abstract submission is April 1, 2007. Abstracts can be submitted using the online submission form. The 4th day is reserved for two master classes on “Basic Genetics for Imagers” and “Basic Imaging for Geneticists”. These master classes are specifically aimed at PhD students and Postdocs, but are open to anyone interested.
The meeting will take place at two historical locations situated closely together in the heart of Amsterdam: Historical Hotel the Grand and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences building (“Trippenhuis”).
Registration Please register by submitting the online registration form, Registration costs for the 3-days are 75€, and 100€ if you also want to attend the workshops on day 4. Registration is limited to 100 participants and is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Registration fee is kept to a minimum thanks to our sponsors, and includes: Attendance of all scientific sessions, the final programme and abstracts, coffee and tea during all breaks, four lunches and the informal welcome, as well as the banquet on Thursday, and, if applicable, the Master Class dinner on Friday!
